How to Flash HardSPL 2.08 Onto HD2
This is a simplified guide from XDA's forum. The original guide is over here.Requirements
- PC running WinXP
- T-Mobile 1024MB HD2 w/at least 50% battery charge
- ActiveSync
- HSPL4.exe
1. Download HSPL4.exe from the link above onto your PC.
2. Download and install ActiveSync from the link above onto your PC.
3. Boot into Bootloader Mode on your HD2.
4. Plug your HD2 into your PC, you should be alerted "Stoage Device Detected."
5. On your PC, double click HSPL4.exe.
6. After reading the text, click next.
7. Pick 2.08HSPL and click Next.
8. When it finishes, your HD2 will reboot.
9. Click ok to exit the HSPL4.exe program.
10. On the HD2, boot into Bootleader Mode to double check your SPL.
11. The second line should read "SPL-2.08 HSPL..." like in the image above.
12. Reboot the phone and you're done!

If you do not want to risk breaking your phone and do not want to mess around with your phone, I recommend you buy an iPhone.
